MasterCard© Debit Card

1. New debit cards will arrive in 7 to 10 business days (this does not include weekends and holidays). When the card arrives, there will be a sticker on the front with a number to call to activate the card and setup a PIN number of your choosing. The card mailing does not say the name of the credit union on the outside; therefore, please be sure to open every piece of mail until you receive the card.
2. All debit cards have a $3,500 limit within a 24-hour period, including $500 maximum ATM cash withdrawal.
3. International transactions are not allowed on debit cards. This includes online retailers who process payments through an international processing center.
4. Up to 5 free ATM withdrawals monthly at participating ATM’s.
5. Balance Inquires at the ATM will result in a $2 fee.
6. Deposits (cash or checks) are not accepted at any ATM’s. (Please ask a GLFCU team member for more information about Remote Deposit Capture and our secure Night Drop boxes).
7. There is a $10 fee for replacement cards when they are lost or damaged prior to the card expiration date and if you forget your PIN please call 1-800-992-3808 to setup a new PIN.
8. If you are traveling outside the state of Michigan please let us know so your debit card service does not get interrupted while you are traveling due to out of area transactions.
9. If you have a name change on your account, we must also change the name on your debit card. Transactions will not process correctly if names don’t match.
10. Card Valet is available to monitor your debit card and help prevent possible fraud.
11. Please always keep us up to date with your most current contact information, if a problem arises we will use your contact information to reach you!

Visa© Credit Card

You may apply for a Visa credit card in the Apply for a Loan section at the top of our website or you can receive an application at any branch. Also if you would like more information please contact our loan dept at 989-893-2831 Option 1.
