Remote Deposit Capture
We now offer remote deposit capture (RDC) so you can deposit checks from anywhere with your smart phone. To begin making deposits, search for Great Lakes Federal CU in the App store or Great Lakes Federal Credit Union in The Google Playstore to download the App. Checks are processed daily during our regular business hours Monday thru Friday. Once your check is reviewed, you will receive an email notification. Deposits can be reviewed through online banking, email, or the Mobile App. You may keep the check for your records, or shred it after confirmation of the deposit. Debit Card Round Up- Save your change with every debit card purchase and watch your savings grow! This program works on checking accounts only. When a debit card purchase is made, the transactions are rounded up to the nearest dollar, and the increase amount is then transferred to the account selected (Christmas club, vacation club, side share, or primary savings). An example of how this works is as follows: If you go to your local grocery store and spend $58.24, the amount that posts to your account is exactly $58.24, not the $59.00. At the end of the day, that extra .76¢ (along with any other amounts will be calculated on other purchases throughout the day) will be transferred from your checking to your savings account. Money Desktop– Members will have access to a Personal Financial Management Tool directly from It’s Me 247. Using these tools members can aggregate and track their finances across all their financial institutions to better manage their money. Once an account is created on MoneyDesktop you will be able to manage accounts and view balance information and previous transactions, review trends in spending, create a budget, manage your debts and more.
Text Banking-You can sign up for text banking through our website by logging into your account and choosing Go Mobile at the top. Once you are signed up, you can text BAL and within a minute you will receive your balances on your accounts. There is also options to set up text alerts when your balance reaches a low level, when an ACH item will be withdrawn or deposited, when a loan payment is due, etc. This service is convenient when our offices are closed and you just need the balance so you don’t over draw funds from your account.
